—MEET JULIA—
Hi! My name is Julia Bailey and I believe in the power of strong women. My life is filled with inspirational female figures who embrace their personal power on a daily basis. I aim to carry that legacy with me throughout my life and in my designs.
My design aesthetic lies between a girl who is ready to take over the world and a girl who loves to turn heads when she is walking down the street. No matter what, she leaves an impact. I am passionate about creating clothes that make the wearer feel confident and bold.
I am a recent graduate with a BFA and departmental honors from the fashion department at Massachusetts College of Art and Design. When I am not in the studio I love to go for a run or hangout with friends. My favorite sports are tennis and football. I also love to travel, I have been to Ireland, France, the Netherlands and Belgium. My favorite thing in life is to explore new places and meet new people.
I have experience in apparel design, product development, technical design and show production. I come from a very small town on the south shore of Massachusetts and have fallen in love with the chaotic city life in Boston. I am a passionate and ambitious designer and can relate to all women who fight for what they want. Let me stand with you in this fight.
My most recent collection is a luxury ready-to-wear collection inspired by the idea of femininity vs. intimidation titled Future of Femme. My customer knows who she is and knows what she wants in life. I want to prove that intimidation does not equal negativity, intimidation is a woman owning who she is and embracing her personal power.
