It all began with one word, intimidating. As a woman, I have been called this because of my height and because of my work ethic. When someone would call me “intimidating”, it never felt like a positive attribute. I felt like I had to change who I was or how I presented myself to the world.
All because of one word!
If you relate to these feelings or experiences at all, you are not alone. You are the future of femme.
Where it all began.
After a series of Instagram survey polls, I found that I was not the only one who has had negative experiences with the word “intimidation”.
76% of about 300 of my followers had been told that they were intimidating.
56% of those who responded yes, also said that it was a negative experience.
The Creation.
The goal for this collection is to change the negative connotations that are attached to the word “intimidation”
When a woman is called “intimidating”, she is embracing her personal power and owning her inner strength.
Like a snake shedding it’s skin, the woman sheds the negative and weak skin that intimidation has trapped her in to reveal the beautifully daunting power she holds within.
